Local 0-5k Running Programme
Local with weekly contact session in Piltown Co. Kilkenny:
My 0-5k programme has successfully helped hundreds of people to reach their 5k goal and beyond. This is a tried and tested programme, consisting of 6 weekly contact sessions, with 2 homework sessions and lots of motivation and support.
During each contact session I focus on:
- Running technique coaching
- Warm-up, loosen out, cooldown and stretch
- Gradually building up run/walk intervals
- A focus on building endurance not pace (plenty of time for that post 5K!)
- Runner specific Pilates strength exercises
- Breathing technique
- Group support and motivation
- The common goal of running 5k continuously by week 6 depending on the chosen programme
Suitable for beginner and lapsed runners.
